These doublethink ideas are used to make the citizens cerebrate and accept the two contradicting ideas that are brought to the highest degree through propaganda and enforced through the thought police. The mountain of Oceania are under grapple control and these slogans are used end-to-end the novel to dish with the control. Through the ignorance of the people, boastful Brother gains precedent and strength. This idea is associated with the slogan, Ignorance is Strength. The society controls the past, present, and future and the people are all oblivious to this which gives the companionship this ability. Even caller members who work with ever-changing the records are so brainwashed that the caller has complete control over them to miscellanea the records and truly have them accept the assortment and believe that it is true. This gives Big Brother strength because if something needs to be altered ascribable to lack of consistency it is possible.
